A Room of her own:

Introducing Rafi’s Classically Cool nursery

The moment I found out I was having a girl, I started dreaming up this little lady’s nursery. It had to be equal parts classic, fabulous, modern and of course, pink.

Living in NYC, we are limited on space, so function and form had to coexist harmoniously—in a petit corner. For Rafi’s furniture, we partnered with consciously crafted, children’s furniture company, Babyletto. I chose the Lolly Crib that features an acrylic and Pine Wood design and added whimsical green pillows for decor—possibly my best Amazon find yet. Every nursery needs a comfortable glider for late night (and early morning!) feedings and I’m not exaggerating when I say this is the MOST comfortable chair I’ve ever sat in. So many friends have already purchased it after lounging in mine, because it really is that good. It reclines with a touch of a button and even has a charging port in the armrest.

I’m the self-proclaimed queen of peel and stick wallpaper, so Rafi was no doubt going to have a gorgeous wall of it in her room. I chose a romantic Toile print, as a nod to my childhood bedroom—which featured a classic French black and white toile pattern.

And since Rafi’s room is enclosed with a sliding door, we chose blackout linen colored curtains to keep the space nap-ready any time of day. The finishing touches to make it her own? A Barbie coffee table book, a yellow gold chandelier (under $50!) and a checkered plush rug, perfect for tummy time and everything in between.
